1. About us

These terms and conditions apply to all services provided by Happy Moment, a sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak) registered in the Netherlands under KvK number 81448430.

2. What we offer

Happy Moment organises creative workshops, including birthday parties and group sessions. Workshops can take place at the client's location or at a venue arranged by the client or by Happy Moment, depending on the booking.

3. Bookings

All bookings are made by contacting us via email or WhatsApp. A booking is confirmed once we have agreed on the date, time, type of workshop, and number of participants, and payment (or a deposit, where applicable) has been received.
By making a booking, you agree to these terms and conditions.

4. Pricing and payment

All prices are communicated at the time of booking and are in euros.
Payment is accepted via Tikkie or Stripe (including iDEAL).
Workshops: full payment is due at the time of booking.
Birthday parties: a deposit of 30% of the total price is due at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due after the birthday party has taken place.
If payment is not received within the agreed timeframe, Happy Moment reserves the right to cancel the booking.

5. Cancellation by the client

You may cancel your booking free of charge up to 14 days before the scheduled date.
If you cancel less than 14 days before the scheduled date, you are entitled to a 50% refund of the amount paid. For birthday parties where only the deposit has been paid, the deposit is non-refundable for cancellations within 14 days.
Cancellations must be communicated via email or WhatsApp.

6. Cancellation or changes by Happy Moment

In exceptional circumstances (such as illness or force majeure), Happy Moment may need to reschedule or cancel a workshop. In that case, we will offer an alternative date. If no suitable alternative can be found, you will receive a full refund.
Happy Moment is not liable for any additional costs you may have incurred (such as venue hire or travel) in the event of a cancellation on our part.

7. Number of participants

Please inform us of the expected number of participants at the time of booking. If the actual number of participants on the day exceeds the agreed number, Happy Moment may not be able to accommodate the additional participants, and a surcharge may apply.

8. Workshop location

Workshops can take place at the client's home or at a venue arranged by the client (such as a community centre, school, or rented space). In either case, the client is responsible for providing a suitable and safe space to work in, including adequate table space, seating, and access to water.
In some cases, Happy Moment may arrange a venue. If so, we will inform you of the location and any associated costs in advance.

9. Supervision and safety

During children's workshops and birthday parties, Happy Moment supervises the participating children for the duration of the creative activity. However, the parent or guardian remains ultimately responsible for their child's wellbeing and behaviour at all times, including before, during, and after the workshop.
Happy Moment provides age-appropriate materials and instructions. Some workshops involve scissors, glue, paint, or other craft materials. Participants and their guardians accept that minor stains or mess may occur.

10. Liability

Happy Moment takes reasonable care to provide a safe and enjoyable experience. However, our liability is limited as follows:

• Happy Moment is not liable for damage to clothing, personal belongings, or property caused during a workshop, unless caused by deliberate negligence on our part.
• Happy Moment is not liable for any injury sustained during a workshop, unless caused by deliberate negligence on our part.
• In any case, Happy Moment's total liability shall never exceed the amount paid for the booking in question.

11. Intellectual property

All workshop designs, templates, and instructions are the intellectual property of Happy Moment and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used commercially without our written permission.
Items created by participants during a workshop are theirs to keep.

12. Photography and video

During workshops, Happy Moment may take photos and videos for promotional purposes. This is subject to the conditions described in our Privacy Policy : faces of minors are never published, and recognisable images of adults are only shared with their explicit approval.
If you do not wish to be photographed, please let us know before or during the workshop.

13. Complaints

If you are not satisfied with our services, please contact us at hello@happymomentcraft.com . We will do our best to resolve your complaint within 14 days. If we cannot reach a satisfactory solution together, you may submit the dispute to the competent Dutch court.

14. Applicable law

These terms and conditions are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.

15. Changes to these terms

Happy Moment reserves the right to update these terms and conditions. The most recent version will always be available on our website. Bookings are subject to the terms in effect at the time the booking was confirmed.
