- Bookings and orders
Bookings and orders are handled manually via email or WhatsApp - we do not have an online booking form or user accounts. To process your booking and issue an invoice, we collect your full name, address, phone number, and email address. This information is stored in our email correspondence, WhatsApp chat history, and invoicing records.
Legal basis: performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). - Payments
We process payments through Stripe (including iDEAL) and Tikkie (ABN AMRO). When you pay, your payment details are handled directly by these providers. We do not store your bank account or card details ourselves. We may receive a transaction reference and confirmation of payment from these providers.
Legal basis: performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). - Email communication
If you sign up for our mailing list or opt in to receive updates, we use MailerLite to send you emails. MailerLite stores your name and email address on our behalf. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
Legal basis: consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). - WhatsApp
If you contact us via WhatsApp, your phone number and any messages you send are processed through WhatsApp (Meta Platforms). We use WhatsApp solely to communicate with you about our products and services. Please refer to WhatsApp's own privacy policy for how they handle your data.
Legal basis: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) - necessary for responding to your enquiry. - Website hosting
Our website is hosted by a third-party hosting provider. When you visit our site, your IP address and basic technical data (browser type, device, access times) may be automatically logged by the hosting infrastructure for security and performance purposes. These logs are not used to identify you personally.
Legal basis: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) - security and proper functioning of our website. - Photography and video during workshops
During workshops, we may take photos and videos for promotional purposes, including use on our website and social media channels. We handle this as follows: - Children (under 18): faces of minors will never be published on social media or other public channels.
- Adults: photos or videos in which you are recognisable will only be shared publicly with your explicit approval.
If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, you can let us know before or during the workshop.
Legal basis: consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to ask us to show you what personal data we have about you, correct it if it's wrong, or delete it. You can also ask us to stop using your data in certain ways, or request a copy of it. If you gave us consent for something (like email updates or using your photo), you can withdraw that consent at any time.
In practice, we don't have a database or user accounts - your data lives in our email and WhatsApp conversations, invoices, and (if you signed up) our MailerLite mailing list. So exercising your rights is straightforward: just email us at
hello@happymomentcraft.com and tell us what you'd like. For example, you can ask us to look up what data we have on you, correct your details on a future invoice, delete your WhatsApp conversation history, or remove you from our mailing list. We will respond within one month.
If you are not satisfied with how we handle your request, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) at
autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl .
Children's data
Our workshops may involve children. When a booking is made for a child, we collect the parent's or guardian's personal details for invoicing purposes - not the child's personal data directly. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children without parental involvement. For our policy on photographing children during workshops, see the "Photography and video" section above.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
